Sightseeing Marathon

My cousin Ingo was in Paris for a visit. It was the first time for him in Paris, even in France. So he wanted to see a lot. It turned out that he managed to see basically everything in 5 days. Although I don´t know if he remembers what he has all seen. Just to give you first days schedule: 10:00 am leaving appartment - bakery. He likes lot, is hungry buys a lot, eats a lot in the metro on our way to the Eiffeltower. 10:15 am Eiffeltower, not taking the elevator, walking up to the 2nd level, 10:45 on the Eiffeltower, sweaty and exhausted. Finally taking the elevator to the top floor (there are no staires), 11:30 am on top of the Eiffeltower, having a wonderful view. It is really worth to look from the 3 different levels, because the perspective changes. 12:3o back down on the ground heading over to Trocadero, then taking Metro to Arc de Triumph, walking down the Champs-Elysées to Place de la Concorde, through the Tuileries to the Louvre. 1:30 pm, very hungry hiddig Japanese Restaurant at Luxembourg. After lunch little rest in the Park de Luxembourg before walking over to the Pantheon, passing the Sorbonne (unfortunatelly you can not go inside without a valid student ID from the sorbonne), walking down to the old Roman baths, then crossing the Seine to Notre Dame. Spending like 45 min in Notre Dame, Ingo took pictures of literally every window!! Then walking around Notre Dame. After that walking over to Ile Saint Louis. Ingo had read an article bout Paris before and it said there was the best icecream in town. So bought 1 ball of Mango icecream for 2 Euros, but have to say it is the best icecream in the world. While enjoying icecream, crossing the seine and walking to the Marais (one of the oldest parts in town). At the place des Vosges we sit for about 5 min and admire the wonderful square. Then walking through the Marais to the Centre Pompidou. We take the stairways up to the top and have a drink in the restaurant. The cheapest drink - even water - 6 Euros. So, enjoying a 6 euro peach juice with a wonderful view over Paris. But it´s not over yet!! After Centre Pompidou, we walked over to the Hotel de Ville and then finally took the Metro back home, but we had to go groceries shopping first. Monoprix - best place to do that was stillopen, so we could get water, salad, baguette and lamp chops for dinner. The wine was already there. After that long day we had dinner when Holger came back from work. But Ingo wanted to see more. 10:50pm back in the metro to the Eiffeltower. 11:00 pm at the Eiffeltower which is sparkling at dark for 10 min every hour. Staring at sparkling Eiffeltower for 10 min, then finally going home. 12:00 pm my legs hurt - can´t sleep well. Afraid of next day...

You can imagine what I did the next4 days - there was still a lot to see. Check out the pictures!
