global warming - where is the sun?

Last week I read in a magazine that it was the warmest March in 128 years. That means basically it was the warmest March ever. I wonder where they measured the temperatures. Not in France, that´s for sure. Since last April - I´m talking about April 2007, we are waiting for some good weather. I don´t know for how long people will be living with this. I mean I know we can´t change the weather, but seriously, everyone is in a bad mood, everyone is sick of wearing the wintercoat, everyone is sick of rain and 10°C. When will this stop?
And where was the warm weather in March 2008? Maybe I´ll go there for a week-end!

I am with you on this one. The weather here has been awful too. I am so sick of wearing SWEATERS in April, for crying out loud. It makes me cranky. Which makes my students cranky. Which makes everyone cranky.

Blah.

We had snow in the mountains this weekend. Thankfully, we were in Texas and had sunny, 95 degree days that helped to thaw out our bones. Now, we are back to gloomy, 55 degree weather in Washington and having to turn on the furnace. Susie
